Have a regular dog walker? A friend visiting from out of town? Give your guests temporary or recurring access to your home so that they can unlock your door without knowing your pin code.
The guest access menu will only appear in our app if your property installed compatible locks and has chosen to enable this feature.
Tap the profile button in the top-left of the IOTAS app and select Guests.
Tap the purple (+) add icon.
Provide your guest's name and contact information.
Select Temporary access for one-time use or Recurring access.
Select the date and time(s) your guest should be able to unlock your door.
Include a message to your guest.
For example, provide quick instructions for parking or entering the building.
The email address and phone number on your IOTAS profile will be automatically included in the invitation to your guest.
After reviewing your invitation, tap Share Access.
Your guest will immediately receive an invitation email. However, the virtual access key in that email will only work during their scheduled access time(s).
Did your guest lose their invitation email? No worries! Just tap the three dots next to their name on your list of active guests, and select Resend key to guests.
