The IOTAS Hub is what syncs your home's smart devices to the IOTAS app. If nothing is turning on or off from the app, your hub is most likely disconnected from power or the internet.

Here's how to make sure your IOTAS hub has the power and internet connection it needs:

  1. Locate your IOTAS Hub.
    • Your hub should be in your unit's communication box or on a counter.
  2. What color is the front light?
    • No light: Check to make sure the hub is plugged into a power outlet.
      • Important Note!

To avoid accidentally turning off your hub from the app, plug it into one of your home's non-smart outlets or plug it into the top socket of one of your smart outlets (only the bottom socket can be controlled remotely).
    • Purple or red: Please unplug the hub from the power outlet for one minute and then plug it in again.
    • Blue or green: So far, so good! A blue or green light indicates that your hub should be able to connect to the internet.
  3. Are the back lights blinking?
    • No: Make sure that your internet connection is working and that your hub's ethernet cable is connected to your internet router in a port labeled 'in'. If your hub's back lights still aren't blinking, please unplug the hub from the power outlet for one minute and then plug it in again.
    • Yes: Things look good! If the front light is blue or green and the back lights are blinking, your IOTAS Hub should be online.
